Boy to Girl Nursery

Baby Boy to Baby Girl
As I have mentioned in the past, I am NOT a decorator! I don’t like decorating and I don’t like spending money on decorations. However, I do like having a home that LOOKS like I like decorating. After my second baby was a different “kind” than my first baby I realized life would be much easier if I had a nursery that was easily convertible from pink to blue. I decided to make two plans for one room. Here is what I came up with.

I already had a crib set for a girl AND a crib set for a boy, I just needed a way to make so the other accessories worked with both. Luckily they both had a bit of green in them (and my chair was green) so I started by painting the top two feet of the walls a color to match.

I bought 4 pink pictures and 4 blue pictures.

I changed the ribbon color on my pin board.

And I changed out the drapes.
The picture above the dresser and everything in the bathroom stayed the same.

Now, in a matter of a few minutes I can covert my baby boy room into a baby girl room. I’m feeling totally prepared for whatever the future throws at me…. Then again, maybe the future is done handing me babies. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
