Buttermilk Pancakes

Buttermilk Pancakes (minus the buttermilk)

(serve with fried eggs)

1 1/2 Cups Milk
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Vinegar
3/4 tsp Salt
2 Cups Flour
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Butter, melted
2 tsp Baking Powder

Add vinegar to milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes (this will sour the milk which replaces the buttermilk in most pancake recipes).

Combine flour, sugar, powder, soda and salt in a large bowl.

Add eggs and butter to sour milk, wisk well.

Pour flour mixture into milk mixture and wisk until smooth.

Cook on a heated skillet, flipping once, until no longer doughy.
