Buttermilk Pancakes (minus the buttermilk)
(serve with fried eggs)
|1 1/2 Cups Milk||1 tsp Baking Soda|
|1/4 Cup Vinegar||3/4 tsp Salt|
|2 Cups Flour||2 Eggs|
|1/4 Cup Sugar||1/4 Cup Butter, melted|
|2 tsp Baking Powder|
Add vinegar to milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes (this will sour the milk which replaces the buttermilk in most pancake recipes).
Combine flour, sugar, powder, soda and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs and butter to sour milk, wisk well.
Pour flour mixture into milk mixture and wisk until smooth.
Cook on a heated skillet, flipping once, until no longer doughy.
