Cream of Tomato Soup
|1 lrg. can Stewed Tomatoes||1/4 tsp. Pepper|
|1/2c. Finely Diced Onions||2 Tbs. Butter|
|1 tsp. Sugar||2 Tbs. Flour|
|1 tsp. Salt||1 1/2c. Milk|
Combine tomatoes, onions, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine; add flour and stir in milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Slowly add hot tomatoes, stirring constantly. Heat through.
