Freezing Corn
Picking corn at its ripest can be difficult. Corn is ready to pick after the ears have completely filled out. You can tell when the ears are filled out by examining the end of the ear; if it feels rounded or blunt the corn is ripe. If it is pointed the corn needs more time. You will also notice on ripe corn that the silk is beginning to dry up.
Cut the ends off each ear, remove husk and silk.
