4 Eggs, separated | Lemon Peel from 1 lemon |
1/4 Cup Sugar | 1/4 Cup Butter, melted |
1/2 tsp Salt | 1 1/4 Cup Flour |
1 Cup Milk | 1/2 tsp Baking Powder |
1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice |
In a medium bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar and salt. Blend in milk, lemon juice, lemon peel, and butter. Beat well. Add flour and baking powder. Beat egg white until stiff and fold into batter. Bake in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown.
