Pie Filling Cobbler

1 Quart Pie Filling (or 2 cans)1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg1/3 Cup Butter (cold)
1 1/2 Cups Flour3 Tbsp Milk
2 Tbsp Sugar1 egg, beaten
1 tsp Baking Powder3 Tbsp Sugar

Preheat oven to 400F.

Stir together pie filling and nutmeg. Pour into an ungreased baking dish.

Mix together flour, 2 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut butter into flour mixture using a pastry blender (mixture should resemble large crumbles). Add milk and egg. Mix until moistened.

Layer flour mixture over pie filling and sprinkle with remaining 3 tbsp of sugar.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
